Dan was known to be a bold person that carried himself in a confident manner. He had a way of making you feel seen and heard. He would be invested in any topic you brought up, even if it wasn’t something he was interested in. He had a huge smile and a big laugh. There was something about him that made people feel comfortable and he was often looked to for advice.
Dan had this cool factor to him. He always maintained a curated style, blending vintage and timeless pieces. He had a kick for wearing cowboy boots and a full jean set. He was always being complimented for his seemingly effortless style and his sister and friends looked up to him for this confident style of his.
Dan was had become an avid climber and spent many hours bouldering and training at home to increase his skills at the climbing gym. He made fast friends with the employees there and really took to the puzzle climbing offered.
Dan was an invested family man. He married his wife, Julianna, in 2023 after years of friendship. He stepped up and took on the role of Dad to what he insisted on calling “their kids”, Syda and Brody. He loved being able to support and guide them. In February 2026, Dan’s daughter Tallulah was born. He was in awe of her and was a wonderfully attentive partner and daddy. His support and love is sorely missed.
Dan spent almost every night cooking for his family. He loved a fresh, simple meal made with care and good ingredients. The man loved a co-op or high-end grocery store where he could find new fun treats and fresh, local produce. Dan also loved a good meal out. For years he was obsessed with going out for the fluffiest pancakes he could find. If he loved a place, he went often and really indulged in it.
